The legend about the Deathly Hallows was wrong: you don't become the Master of Death - you become Death's champion. This essentially means that you're Death's errand boy and that your soul can't rest in peace even if you die because you'll be reincarnated. The only positive side to this job is that rarely is there ever a problem which needs Death's attention.

Harry Potter x Naruto Challenge

This is a rather short challenge with nothing much behind it but the bunny refused to leave.

What if Harry Potter was reincarnated as Naruto?

I've seen a lot where Harry becomes an Uchiha but I haven't found one yet with him as Naruto. I understand that Harry shares physical characteristics with the Uchiha but he has plenty in common with Naruto as well.

A bad childhood (in canon for both, its all about isolating them and refusing to see them as the 'demon brat' and 'the chosen one' or 'freak' rather than themselves), a great destiny/prophecy and making bonds that they cherish and wish to protect.

So I wanted to see Harry reincarnated into Naruto and see what happens.

While it would be easy to simply say "Harry is the Master of Death and he can't die', I want to add some depth.

Something like, 'he's constantly reincarnated, never staying dead, but he doesn't remember any of his past lives until Death needs him'. Like a part time job or something.

This way the story can continue.

In this crossover, I had the idea that Kaguya was the last champion of death but she started believing she was greater than Death and got power hungry. Then everything in canon happened until Naruto/Harry's birth and then you can start changing it up a bit to save the Bijuu and destroy the Juubi/Kaguya.

Twist: Kaguya is actually Harry from another timeline where something happened that changed his personality or he made a different choice. Like that episode in Doctor Who where Donna has to choose between going left or right.
