Sonic was diagnosed with cancer by his Chinese doctor and got really sad. He decided to run fast because he doesn't know what else to do besides jump sometimes. He ran so fast that the cancer evaporated but he died anyway cause when you run at the speed of light or beyond the speed of light you become energy. Knuckles never showed up to his funeral.
