The Lake Rumbles

The lake rumbles by,
for as far as the eye can see.
But there is something more to this view,
who stands so elegantly.

The gentle wind pulls your skirts,
I'm loathe to exclaim
how beautifully you complete this image,
upon the Hogwarts' plain.

Perchance you find me staring,
I worry that you'll say
how an inappropriate person I am,
in that case, I'll run away.

To lover's leap, where you live,
upon its fruitful shore,
where there is no logic to frown upon,
loving you forevermore.

Your love, your touch, your kiss, your smile,
I'm afraid that I am smitten
for you, Minerva, are the most beautiful witch
in all the isles of Britain!

Now I kiss you and beg and plead,
that you'll come away with me,
for there is a wonderful place I know,
that I wish for you to see.

Lover's Leap! It is such a grand place,
with only you and I to roam,
with fervent desire, I show you my love,
hoping that you will make this your home.

For acquaintances ail, and friendships fall,
But lovers leap, and that is all.
