A/N: Apparently, these two actually get married at the end of the series...at least according to all of the new fanart on pixiv, anyway. Plus, his son has the same hair color and eye color as Jeanne. If I'm wrong, forgive me.
This is just a short drabble to continue my tribute to the true final volume of Shaman King.
"It's kinda funny how much he looks like you..."
Tao Ren, now a young man of 21 years old, glanced up from his paperwork and gave his wife Jeanne an incredulous look. "...What did you just say?"
Smiling broadly, Jeanne motioned down to their only son, who was sitting on the floor while happily playing with one of his mother's slippers. Tao Ren squinted his eyes. The baby had the same pointy hair as he did seven years ago, during the year of the Shaman Fight. His child even had the same no-nonsense sort of face that he himself had. It was almost like staring in a mirror. The Chinese man was still sceptical regarding his wife's claim, however.
"I don't believe it." Ren scoffed as he looked back at his papers, "He has your hair color and your eye color, anyway...he definitely looks more like you than me..."
Jeanne shrugged, unable to hide the big grin on her face. "Whatever you say, darling..."
