And saved the human race from the greatest threat to its brief existence: itself.
To this she is forever remembered as the beating heart of Team Avatar
Sokka
Possessed of great courage and intelligence,
He struck the first blow in our fight for survival
His mind was the key to success in the final year of war.
Using an intellect even more cutting than his sword,
His plans and devices were what humanity needed,
To survive the war and push back those who would drive their own race to extinction,
For this he is remembered forever as the sharp mind of Team Avatar.
Toph
When she emerged from secrecy and isolation she struck fear in all she encountered.
Though small, she wielded the wrath of a blood-drenched planet.
Vicious and strong, she was brutal and fearless in battle.
Her attacks instilled terror in her enemies,
And hope in an entire race.
With her sightless eyes the last many saw of this world,
She is remembered always as the epitome of human wrath, and the crushing fist of Team Avatar.
Zuko
Born to a legacy of chaos and conquest,
He hunted those who would be his allies across the world
Desperate to earn back love that never existed.
When he saw the light in the darkest days of war,
He joined the people he hunted,
And lead his newfound friends to what they needed to ultimately win the war,
Before flinging himself between the sister of his heart and the sister of his blood,
And leading a nation back to itself.
For this he is remembered as the vigilant eye and redeeming soul of Team Avatar.
