Chasing the Mouse

'SQUEAK'
Frantic as you are,
Running to get away.
I'll run very far,
You say.
Don't try,
I persuade.
For once I catch you,
You'll die.
I crave for your blood.
Like a cat chasing a mouse.
But you humans are pesk,
And I'm the hunter in the jungle.
Like a jaguar,
I stalk.
Like a halk,
I see.
No matter what distance you run,
I'll catch you,
Eventually.
