[Author Speaking: Well this took forever am I right?! I'm sorry this took so long but it's finally happening! Now obviously will be some changes in this, for example I probably wont be as detailed with smut because idk just rereading what I wrote made me feel awkward and I couldn't get the words out right so I did the best I could while writting that as little as I could. I know that will make some people mad and I'm sorry.

Also now that I am rewritting this I'm going to attempt to make Sweeney a little more canon. He was very OOC when I wrote this before and he will get that way again as the story goes on but not nearly as bad... I hope. Anyway welcome back and I hope you enjoy this rewrite. Much of the plot will be stay the same I'm just making it a little better and easier to read... at least I hope that how you all see it. Thanks so much to those of you who have and will still stick with this story :)]

Selfishness. It was purely selfish of Mrs. Lovett and she knew it just as the words left her thin lips. Guilt settled in her mind, eating at her brain telling her to tell him the truth.

"She killed herself... got the arsenic from the apothecary around the corner. I tried stoppin' her but she wouldn't listen to me. She missed you all too much."

It was a lie of course, but would Mr. T really want to see his wife in the state she was in now? No... No he wouldn't it would break him and it was better that she tell him a lie so that he could move on and no longer hurt... move on and perhaps move closer to her. It was all a little plan that had sprung into her head, something she normally never would have done but she found she really couldn't control herself when it came to Mr. T. He was just so perfect. The way he talked, the way he walked, how his hair rested just at his shoulders with gentle little waves... She had always liked him, but with both of them being married it wasn't proper for her to show him how she felt, but now was her chance. Her poor Albert was gone and now Sweeney believed Lucy to be gone as well. They could start a new life, a happy life, but if only she could just spit it out to him. Maybe if she just told him how she really felt it wouldn't matter if Lucy was dead or alive... maybe he would want her. Maybe if she just told him the truth, all of the truth, then he wouldn't care, maybe he would love her and maybe her mind would stop keeping her up at night telling her how wrong she was for lying to the man she fancied the most.

For days after she broke the news to him the Lucy was gone Mrs. Lovett let him be. He didn't leave the upstairs flat once and Nellie was growing tired of waiting. She had been waiting for him to leave the flat, but that didn't appear to be happening any time soon and if she didn't act now he might be mad at her if she told him the truth. Quickly she jumps up from her couch and makes her way out of the shop, heading up the stairs that would lead her to Sweeney. No light shown through the windows and no noise came from inside though the door was left ajar. Softly Nellie pushes the door open, moonlight pouring in lighting up the space just enough to see everything out of place. The mirror was cracked, clothes were thrown about the room along with all the pieces of the bed, including the mattress, and empty liquor bottles lay all around the floor, some broken and some still partially full.

"Mr. T?" she calls softly, eyes wandering around the room until they lock on the dark figure of Sweeney sitting the far corner of the room, another bottle locked in his fist, "What have you done.." she sighs and walks over pulling him up, "Come come... Let's sit on the mattress...I think we need to have a little chat."

Gently she helps Sweeney onto the mattress, not bothering to leave him for a moment to place it back on the bed frame for she could feel how unstable his body was in her arms. He flops onto the mattress and forces back a little more alcohol before Mrs. Lovett takes the bottle from him, "Mr. T we need to talk about Lucy..."

"No!" he barks at her grabbing for the bottle though she pulls her hand back, not allowing him to get it, "I don't want to talk about her..."

"This is important I-"

"STOP!" dark eyes glare up at her. "She is gone and there is nothing more to be said!"

Mrs. Lovett falls silent, golden brown eyes falling for a moment before she places the bottle of liquor on the bedside table. "Then I will leave you be... but-but we must talk in the morning Mr. T... I need to talk-"

"Sit." he commands pulling her down to the mattress, though his demeanor began to soften, "Don't leave. Not yet..."

Nellie was shocked at first but allowed Mr. Todd to pull her down to the mattress, the feeling of his hand on her arm giving her a rush that ran all through her body. At first it was just awkward. Nellie never thought he would want her to sit with him and she was unsure of how to start talking to him... sitting there she watched him as he looked out of the windows, as he reached for the bottle (nearly dropping it) so he could take another long drink. The truth was eating away at her mind. The truth about how she felt.. the truth about Lucy. Being around him only made her want him more and she couldn't keep lying to him but she didn't want to loose him either.

"Mr. T.." she starts finally, "What- What was Lucy li-" she is cut off by Sweeney's lips meeting hers. Her eyes widen not moving from the blurry image of him in front of her. What was he doing? They hadn't spoke in so long and now all the sudden he was kissing her. A tingling sensation flows from her lips down to her toes. Nellie couldn't help herself. All thoughts of speaking with Mr. T were washed away as she tangles her hands in his hair, kissing him back, trying to show him now how she really felt in this moment that she was sure had to be dream. Their movements were feverish. Pressing themselves closer, getting lost in the moment of lust. Articles of clothing were soon being tossed about the room as it felt like they needed to be closer, like they needed to be one. Their moans soon filled the flat as Sweeney begins to fuck her.

No one had ever made her feel this way before. Her nails rake against his back, surely cutting him as she tries to hold on. She didn't want it to end so soon but she couldn't help it. Her moans grow louder as he pushes deeper into her and before she knows it shes screaming in pleasure, coming faster than she ever had before. With her late husband Albert she was lucky if she even did get off but this... this was definitely the first time she ever felt so much pleasure at once.

Mr. Todd rolls off Nellie and lays back on the mattress, his expression unreadable. Had he liked it? Was it just was good for him as it had been for her? She wasn't sure but she felt like it had been. Gently she moves closer to him, resting her head on his chest, dark eyes looking up at him. Sweeney looks back at her, almost like he was reading her but he wouldn't allow her to read him. It was driving her mad not knowing what he was thinking.. how he was feeling. Softly his arm, wraps around her small frame and she finds herself melting against him.

He had to have liked it. Wouldn't he have told her to leave if he didn't? Why else would he be holding her. She sighs unable to help the small smile tugging at her lips as she closes her eyes, letting herself drift to sleep in his arms so that she could relive this moment in a dream. This had easily been the best night of Nellie's life and she hoped it meant there was something more coming for them.

[Author speaking: So yeah I rushed the smut a little and I'm sorry. I'm trying to get back in the swing of writing so pleaseee bare with me! :)]
