Rose Tyler was woken up by the sound of swearing and a very loud beeping noise. Quickly jumping out of bed she ran, while being cautious as to what it could be making this noise down the corridor that led from her room. As she went the noises got louder so she was going in the right direction and now she could smell burning. Quickening up her pace she found herself standing in the doorway to the kitchen which was full of dark, thick smoke. Starting to panic incase something had attacked them she turned on the fans to try and clear some of the smoke. After a few seconds the smoke had cleared enough to make out a figure standing in the centre of the kitchen, a coiple more seconds later she could see it was her dad with his back to her angrily staring something out on the table.
Walking over to him she realised the thing on the table was what was making the awful smell, reaching out she touches his arm,
"Dad? Are You Ok?"
He slowly turned his head to face her, face red with anger and eyes burning with annoyance and speaking through gritted teeth,
"No I'm Not Ok..."
He turned back around to look at the groseteque thing sitting on the table. Rose waited for the rest of the sentence until it was onvious she weren't getting one so she puts her hands on her hips and stands directly in of him,
"Well What's Up Then?"
Looking back at her now with tears in his eyes, barely a whisper
"The oven burnt my fish fingers"
A/N: Obviously Rose isnt The Doctors daughter but its different so im going to see how this works. If you dont like it just let me know... If you didnt know this is 11th Doctor and Rose Tyler.
