Quinn and Rachel have a thing. Not any thing. But a thing thing. Nobody understands it and nobody would have guessed it. Not even them, but its theirs, and they'll do anything and everything to protect it.
Quinn had Finn, but so did Rachel, it wasn't anything she did perse, but she is a star, and everyone wants a star in their life. So she kind of just had him Quinn didn't care about that, she cared about million watt smiles, animal sweaters and fanny brice... Or something like that. She's sure that's not what's she's supposed to care about but they had a thing.
Rachel tried to tell Finn she wasn't into him, but YOU tell a QB who had a tendency to kill innocent chairs that the thought of kissing him makes you want to puke, especially as you tried for a year to make him your boyfriend. But you had a thing to protect. And protect it you will.
Yesterday, Quinn no longer had Finn. Or more accurately, Finn no longer had Quinn. Nobody knew the real reason only that it was over some thing that Quinn refused to let go of. Finn has been ignoring Rachel too. Apparently he can't believe that the thing happened again.
Sophomore year, before Cheerios and before Glee, Quinn and Rachel had a thing. A thing that was lost because of McKinley Heirachy. Because of close-minded-ness, because you're teenage girls and everyone knows teenage girls like to experiment. Except experiments don't cause feelings that last an entire high school career, feelings that no matter what happened, no matter how many clothes were ruined by slushies, no matter how one gave up their baby to the others mother, those feelings only grew.
It's senior year and there's nothing left to be afraid of.
Because you're Quinn and Rachel. And you have a thing. You have love.
