A/N: Hey-o! This is just a short one-shot that I wrote when I was way too tired to fall asleep. I hope you like it and thank you for taking the time to read.

Alec wandered into Magnus's flat. His shoulders drooped and his eyelids closed with every step he took toward his boyfriend. Of course, Magnus knew that Alec was tired. He had been battling demons all day. The poor boy was working too hard. Magnus needed to fix that. He brought Alec into a hug, whispering sweet nothings in the teen's ear.

"I know exactly what you need," Magnus whispered, a small smile playing on his lips as he gently kissed Alec's neck. He broke their embrace, and, taking Alec's hand, led his boyfriend to his bedroom. Alec sat on the foot of the bed, the muscles in his shoulders relaxing as he drew in a few quiet breaths. A smile began playing on his lips too. He couldn't take his eyes off of Magnus as the warlock strolled around the room, lighting a few candles and dimming the lights. He winked at Alec as he turned on the stereo, which instantly blared Katy Perry at them.

"And that is a dance party!" Magnus screamed over the loud music, grabbing Alec's hand once again, attempting to twirl the Shadowhunter like a ragtime dancer. Alec tried his best to stay planted on the bed; This is not what he had in mind for the night. But, with a little coaxing from Magnus, he eventually began to keep rhythm with his boyfriend's foxtrot. Magnus's yellow eyes gleamed with happiness, and Alec knew that there was no way he would have ever resisted that. Goofy grins pasted themselves to both of their faces as Chairman Meow entered, reminding them that it was late and that he wanted to sleep.

"I think the Chairman wants us to tune it down a little," Alec whispered, unable to wipe that stupid smile off of his face.

Magnus yawned, "Why don't we go out to the couch? I think I'm getting a little tired too."

With a snap of the warlock's fingers the radio turned off and the candles went out, no use starting his apartment on fire you know. Once Magnus and Alec settled onto the couch to The Late Show Chairman Meow hopped right between them. Alec leaned his head against Magnus's shoulder and slowly ran his hand down the Chairman's back, who seemed to have already fallen asleep.

"How do you do it, Magnus?" Alec yawned, his eyelids drooping lower and lower.

"Do what, Darling?"

"You know, how you always seem to know exactly what I need, even if I had something else in mind?"

Magnus paused, unsure of what a truthful answer would be.

"I don't know, Biscuit," Magnus said, throwing a loving glance down at Alec. Alec couldn't really hear his response anyway. His hand had stopped rubbing the cat's back and now laid near the cat's head. Neither one moving. They were already dreaming.

"I love you, Alexander," Magnus whispered, running a hand through Alec's hair.
