Hello Hello! Shira Tsukiko here! Creating a whole new version of my very first Fic, Chiro's cousin! I never did get far into it, so I'm just rewriting my previous chapters, along with finally adding an update! I'm very excited to actually get this story back up and running for good this time, and I hope that those who read it enjoy the story as much as I enjoyed writing it!

The Zone of Wasted years provided nothing but rigorous work and suffering to all who dared attempt a life in it. With its harsh climates and varying terrains, one would question why anyone would ever dare to go outside.
Of course, there was people... Scientists to be exact. Only scientist would be foolish enough to dare go out there. The Alchemist had once ventured out there, not that many people seemed to remember that. It was years ago. But there were others after him, others who hoped to find something out there. Though what was uncertain; they did not even know what they were out to discover, only that something had called them there.
Now a days there was no difference. Just those who went.
A lone figure sat atop the rock formation mask pulled up over her face to avoid the fumes from the ever erupting volcanos. She carefully squinted through her telescope, barely making out the form of the grand city off in the distance. Shuggazoom City, the one and only city on the planet, and her destination. A long time ago she had called that city her home, when she was only 4. But now, at the age of 14, she had planned to make it home once again.
She quickly pulled on her backpack straps, sliding down from the formation and beginning her trek once more. She was curious, wondering about just how different the city had become, and if she'd even find what she was looking for. With a sigh she pulled out the locket around her neck, popping it open and staring at the photo of a younger her and another male.
"Cousin..." She shook her head, snapping it back shut before calmly tucking it away. "Ready or not, here I come."
