Chapter One- Vacation

Alexander Lightwood-Bane heard his husband Magnus Lightwood-Bane clapping his hands ''Come on my loves chop, chop if we are going to make it to Atlanta we need to hurry!'' he had Baby Max strapped to his chest the baby warlock was sleeping soundly against his chest Alec and their other son Five year old Rafael Magnus said ''Come on my lovelies Rafe can sleep in the RV!'' Max grumbled softly Magnus kissed the sleeping baby's head and he cooed ''Go back to sleep my little blueberry'' Max snuggled back up to his chest.

Rafael went to the second room and passed Max's basinet and laid down on the bed in the room. Magnus grinned at him and kissed Rafael's head Raphael mumbled ''Love you Daddy''

Magnus hummed ''Good night my angel'' he placed Max in the basinet and kissed his head and Max fisted the blanket that Magnus covered him with. Magnus walked out the children's room and looked and saw his husband putting his weapons on a weapon's wall Magnus snapped his finger's and the weapon's floated onto the wall and Alec smiled at his husband and picked up his Stele and the wall was covered in the modern tiles that the walls in the RV. Alec picked up his coffee and took a deep gulp of the burning liquid. Magnus didn't understand how he drunk Black coffee without anything in it. Magnus said ''Alright let's get on the road Alexander'' kissing his cheek. Alec got into the driver's seat and started the RV.

Four hours later

Rafael woke up to Max cooing and giggling in his basinet. Rafael peaked over the basinet and grinned at him Max stopped biting on his toes when he saw his brother. He squealed happily and Rafael tried to pick him up and Magnus said ''Whoa Rafe you have to be careful''

Rafael said ''I know daddy'' Rafael picked him up and held him in his arms. Magnus smiled at him and Rafael walked out and sat on the sofa in the living room area. They had pulled over to a rest stop so Alec could get some sleep. Magnus grinned at his children and snapped his finger's and pancakes with fresh strawberries on top along with whipped cream appeared on Rafael's plate. Rafael handed his brother to Magnus and dug into his breakfast with gusto. Magnus fed Max his bottle while Max was playing with a button on his shirt. Magnus turned on the TV and looked at the news.

The reporter said ''A new sickness has been going around New York today that traveled from Africa doctors from the CDC say they are not worried and to warn people not to worry.''

Magnus frowned and said ''Good thing we pulled you from Pre-School Rafe huh'' Rafael looked up and grinned up at him and Magnus cleaned off his face. Magnus hummed and said ''Now…''

A voice said ''Magnus!''

Magnus looked and saw Kat in the mirror he said ''Kat my lovely''

She said ''Where are you?''

Magnus frowned ''We are going on a vacation to Atlanta''

Kat hissed ''Magnus you shouldn't have left there's a sickness going around it's causing people to die but they come back they look like Forsaken but their not every Shadowhunter and even the downworlder's were sent to Idris but the portal's were shut down it's not that bad yet Magnus but you need to get supplies since obviously your not here in Idris.''

Magnus froze and said ''Tell me your joking Catarina''

The nurse's eyes watered and she whispered ''I'm not Magnus get supplies steal if you have to but no portal's will be able to get to Idris and a blow to the brain kills them I don't know I don't know if Warlocks are immune to the virus or not I know Shadowhunter's aren't there hasn't been any case's in downworlder's but don't get bit protect Alec and Rafael just ride it out I'm going to try to convince someone to open a portal to let you into Idris but…''

Magnus said ''We will be fine love we will be fine'' Catarina nodded and blew a kiss to him and she was gone. Magnus spun around and Alec was standing in the doorway.

Alec said ''A virus that turns mundane's into Forsaken''

Magnus said ''Don't'' he looked at Rafe and grinned at him and said ''Darling why don't you go watch Cartoons in your room'' Rafael walked over and took Max and he walked out of the room. He stood by the crack and heard his daddy say quietly ''What's going to happen to our children Alexander.''

He watched his Papa hug his daddy and bring his head to his chest and he said ''I won't let anything happen to you three Magnus we are going to be fine I promise now I'm going to raid some places before it get's bad''

Magnus waved his hand over Alec's duffle and said ''It should be bottomless now''

Alec kissed his head and said ''Don't worry Mags we will make it.''

Magnus walked to their bedroom and sat on his bed and he put his hands in his hand and thought of his children they should have stayed in Idris it was his fault he had suggested it when Alec was working 22 hours a day at the school he wanted to spend time with his family. A tiny hand touched his head and he looked and saw Rafael standing in front of him the Five-year-old hugged him and said ''It's going to be ok Daddy'' he didn't know why his Daddy was upset but he didn't like it.

Magnus brought Rafael closer and wrapped his arms around the small shadowhunter and he smiled ''Of course it's going to be ok we are Lightwood-Bane's and we can survive anything right.''

Rafael giggled when he tickled his tummy he squealed ''Right!''

Magnus smiled at his son and snapped his finger's and looked into the mirror that was floating and he yelped ''Why didn't you tell me my makeup was running?'' Rafael giggled and ran off to his and Max's room. Magnus said ''We are going to be just fine'' and nodded to himself.
