This is my first fanfiction I've written in a looooong time. I've changed a lot since I've last written a word. I hope my readers never change as drastically as I have.

Yuri scrambled for something, anything, to anchor him from the strange men dragging his small body away from his home. "Father!" The small boy screamed, horrified as more angered men seized his father and mercilessly twisted the older man's arms behind his back, coaxing a small moan of pain to escape the man's chapped lips. The men laughed ruthlessly and kicked the older man to the ground as Yuri watched, tears in his eyes.

"Father! Don't let them take you, Father!" He screamed, his legs buckling beneath him as one of the men hit Yuri hard in the back.

"Quiet, my son..." the old man rasped between his teeth. "You never know when to shut up." the man whispered quietly, a soft smile upon his lips as the men started to drag him away. One of the men reprimanded him for speaking, another yelling a string of curses in Russian at the old man, kicking him harshly in the abdomen, the old man buckling over.

"Fa-" was all Yuri got out before one of the men clamped his mouth shut, screaming at him to be quiet. Yuri sank down to the ground, suddenly becoming too weak to hold himself up. Hatred, sadness, and fear all boiled hot right under his skin.

The man that was restraining Yuri abruptly picked him up off of the ground, still forcing Yuri's mouth shut. Yuri, fearful and enraged, kicked the man in the gut with all he had. The man doubled over in return, loosening his hold around Yuri's waist. Yuri wenched himself away from him, angrily kicking the man's face in the dirt and running toward the older man on the ground.

As another man suddenly took hold of Yuri from behind, he grabbed desperately at his father's clothes. "I-I will f-find you, Yuri, m-my little tiger." The old man rasped, giving Yuri a kind smile as he took Yuri's hand in his and let go, letting the men drag Yuri away. One of the men took a heavy object that Yuri had never seen before and incurred a blow to his head with it, making the edges of his vision dark.

His body, against his demand, automatically weakened. "N-no..." Yuri whispered, the rest of his vision going black as someone yelled "To Dachau!"
