Title: Hidden Leaf Academy

Summary: A long time ago, magic users and humans lived in peace together. But then, a witch by the name of Sukimo Haruno cast a spell on humans. But nowadays, there are still monsters living around. Magic users have gone into hiding, and are finding a way to gain the humans trust back. Because it was all Sukimo's fault. Magic users also hated Sukimo for casting that spell. There is only one magic academy left, called Hidden Leaf Academy, and all the witches are working together to destroy the monsters as a way to get humans trust back. ~Chapter One~

It was a beautiful day outside in the land of fire. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, civilians were outside minding their own business, yet there was a girl named Sakura in her home reading a book on magic on her bed. Sakura had silky bubblegum pink hair down to her shoulders and the most striking emerald green eyes you could ever see. She was currently reading a book on spells when she heard a knock on the door.

"Come in," Sakura said, knowing who was on the other side.

The door slowly opened to reveal a man who appeared to be in his late-forties. He had messy brown hair and his hazel eyes were soft and comforting, yet if you looked hard enough you could see sadness in them. The man's name was Kizashi, and he was Sakura's foster dad. He was one of the very few humans to still accept witches.

"Hey sweetie, could we have a talk for a moment?"

Sakura nodded, and put away her spell book, and made room for her dad on the bed. Kizashi sat down on the edge of Sakura's bed. Sakura listened for what her foster dad had to say.

"I'm really sorry, Sakura, I just can't keep doing this anymore." Were his first words. Sakura tensed, knowing where this was going.

"I'm sorry, but I can't keep you hiding in here forever. The guards are getting suspicious and keep coming into our home to look for you. So… I'm sending you away."

Sakura felt her heart break. Sending her away? After all this time, living with her foster dad who loved her with all her heart, after all this time, he's sending her away? It just wasn't fair. "Dad, I-" Sakura started. She couldn't speak. However, when Sakura looked back up at her dad again, she saw her dad on the verge of tears.

"I… I'm really sorry sweetie. If the guards find out about you, they'll kill you. And I don't want that to happen to you too."

Sakura had heard about Kizashi's family. The guards had unfortunately found about his wife and daughter, and had taken them away to be killed. They were witches, and that was why they were killed. Sakura never asked about them anymore, she knew his family was a touchy subject.

"I know, Sakura. You don't have to forgive me. I'm doing this for your sake, and because I love you, and because you're my daughter, blood or not. I don't want to face losing family again. I'm sending you to a magic academy, the one my d-daughter went to before she came home. It's called Hidden Leaf academy, the only academy left standing. It's visible only to magic blood, so I can't see it. You'll be safe there."

Kizashi was now crying. There were tears streaming down his face and onto her bed. Sakura moved to hug him. She loved her dad too. She would do anything to make him happy, even if it's moving away.

"I understand dad. I love you too. If I have to move away, I'll do it. Because I don't like it when you are sad."

Kizashi nodded against his adopted daughter's shoulder. He was used to Sakura's kind of odd way of speaking. Sakura has never interacted with children her age, being in her home hiding from guards her whole life.

Kizashi then took out something from his back pocket. It was an orb, as small as a marble. Suddenly, it grew, becoming the size of an apple. The orb's color was unique. It had swirls of pink, red, hot pink, and a tiny bit of lavender all mixing in together, like a galaxy. Sakura stared curiously at it. It looked really expensive. Then her dad pulled out another one. It had a lot of different shades of dark blue, and a few neon blue stripes going around it. It was just as beautiful as the pink one.

"These are called Communication Orbs. It allows the user to communicate with the other person that is connected to the orb. The pink one was my wife's. Now I'm giving it to you. We can talk to each other using these. Promise me you'll tell me when you get to the academy?" Kizashi said.

Sakura nodded. "Absolutely, dad."

"Good girl. I'll be in the kitchen if you need help with packing" And with that, Kizashi left her room. Sakura sighed and got up. Well, its now or never, Sakura thought.

Sakura had just finished packing the last of her belongings in her backpack. She wore a black cloak with a hood that reached bast her knees. The two top edges of the cloak were held together by a red gem. Underneath the cloak, a red V neck t-shirt with white trimmings showing off her obvious cleavage (Not that she wanted to. It was the only decent looking shirt in her wardrobe, and she was too lazy to look for any others). For pants she wore dark gray leggings and black knee length boots with heels over them. Her backpack was tucked underneath her cloak, along with 2 hip pouches stored with weapons.

Sakura then heard loud banging on the door. She quickly hid in her closet. She waited silently for her dad and the guards to inspect her room.

The door suddenly flew open, hitting the wall with a bang. Sakura jumped slightly from the noise. Someone spoke.

"Sir, why does this room looks like someone has been living here? Last time I checked, your daughter was dead."

"I'm sorry, but I just wanted to clean up my daughter's room. It was getting very dusty."

"Alright sir, I'm letting you go this time. If I see any suspicious reports from your neighbors, I'll have to take you in for an interrogation."

"I understand. Thank you,"

Sakura waited a few minutes before coming out. She slowly slid the door open and stepped out from her closet.

Sakura looked around for her dad. She went downstairs and into the kitchen. There she saw her dad making dinner. He looked over at her.

"Hey sweetie. Are you hungry?"

"Yeah."

Sakura sat down at the dining table. Her foster dad soon came with food. After they ate, Kizashi handed her a scroll. She opened it, and saw that it was a map.

"This is the map to Leaf Academy. My daughter came back and bought this with her. Don't show this to anyone. Okay?"

Sakura nodded. "I won't,"

Kizashi smiled. "Your broomstick is outside. You can probably get there by morning, if you know any speeding up spells."

Sakura hugged her father before stepping towards the door.

"Be careful of the monsters."

"I will. If I come across any, I'll kill them with my magic. Goodbye, dad."

"Bye bye, Sakura-sweetie. Take care."

And with that, Sakura mounted her broomstick and took off into the night sky.
