"You should read this," Parvati said, approaching Blaise with a book in her hand. He glanced at the name on the cover, and raised a questioning eyebrow. Little Women? Clearly, either he was going insane, or she was.

"It's a good book," Parvati said, by way of explanation. Blaise sighed.

"Parv," he began. "Look, I know you have been somewhat...obsessed, with all these classics lately, but I am not sure this is the kind of book that I will like..."

Parvati pouted, plopping down on his lap. Blaise drew her closer. She leaned her face towards him, nearly touching his lips, but suddenly drew back again. Blaise frowned, as his wife opened the book at a bookmarked page, as if to read from it. Then, she turned to him again. "Here's a bit I think you'll like, darling. It's really why I want to read it."

By the end of the next few lines, Blaise was doubling over with laughter, even as Parvati was looking on triumphantly.

"I must show it to him," Blaise said, once he had calmed down a bit.

Parvati put a finger on her chin, as if considering it.

"Please?" Blaise asked, taking her aback. He rarely begged, so when he did, she usually gave in. This time was no different.

"You should read this," Blaise told Theo, shoving the book in his friend's hands. "Specifically, from chapter three. There's a character I think you will be able to relate to."

Theo frowned, opening the book. Within five minutes, however, his frown had turned into a scowl. "You're an idiot," he told the smirking Blaise sitting next to him. The latter's grin only grew wider. But then, Blaise simply shrugged.

"By the way," Blaise added casually, "I was wondering if you'd like a new nickname. Theo is getting a bit old, don't you think?"

Theo was glaring daggers at him, now. "You. Wouldn't. Dare."

Blaise smiled a smile that Theodore knew. It did not bode well for him, when that annoying little imbecile of a friend looked like that.

"Wouldn't I, now? You underestimate me, Dora."

Theodore groaned.

Notes: For Jenny! I know I said Blaise/Parvati, but Theo is so adorable too :P

Also for the Through the Universe Challenge on TGS. Prompt: imbecile.

For anyone who doesn't get the reference, in Little Women, Laurie, (Theodore Laurence), mentions that he makes his friends call him by a shorter version of his last name because otherwise they insist on calling him "Dora". I...couldn't resist doing this to poor Theo.
