DIGNITY
Harry and Ron were walking up the stairs, heading to their shared room, when a noise caught their attention. It was coming from the broom closet. Harry crept closer, and his eyes widened. Harry tip toed back to Ron, using exaggerated hand gestures to explain what needed to happen.
Ron nodded, and ran up the stairs. It was a few minutes before he came back with Remus, a camera, and the Twins. Harry took the camera, as the twins carefully went to the broom cupboard.
They threw the door open, and Harry snapped about ten shots in quick secession. A scream and a thud followed the blinding flashes. The Twins fell over, having lost the ability to support themselves for two reasons. They were shocked beyond belief, and they couldn't stop laughing.
"Harry James Potter, you give me that camera, right now!" ordered Albus Dumbledore. Harry shook his head, still laughing. Harry started backing up, but he ran into a wall. The headmaster was slowly advancing on him, but the effect was lost by the fact that the man looked oddly satisfied.
Harry didn't even want to think about it. EW, EW, EW!
"Harry, I'm warning you…"
"NEVER!" And Harry started running, passing the camera to Remus inconspicuously as he passed. Dumbledore continued to chase him.
Back in the hall, Minerva McGonagall had made herself decent, and was blushing furiously. Never, in twenty years, had she and Albus been caught.
"You are in for so many detentions when we get to school, young man!" she heard her husband yell. The only reply was a muffled laugh. As she looked around, she saw three Weasley boys collapsed on the floor, laughing, and Remus Lupin trying to innocently slip out of the room.
"Albus! Remus has the camera!" Minerva yelled. Albus shot by her faster than Minerva had thought he could possably run.
"Get back here, you little miscreant!" Albus roared. Little did he know, he had just run right into the kitchen. The kitchen FULL of Order members. He heard somebody walk up behind him.
"You know, headmaster, next time you chase a young man, you should make sure you're wearing more than boxers," Harry's voice said. Albus turned red, realizing that her was only wearing his boxers. They were bright pink, too. Harry was laughing so hard he was actually sobbing.
"Ha. Ha. Ha," Albus said, sarcastically. Albus turned around, and stepped over Harry.
It took Harry forty five minutes to stop laughing. Remus got the pictures developed, and Harry began laughing again.
It was decided, by Albus and Minerva, that hearing Harry actually laugh might just be worth more than their own dignity. Harry's laugh, as of late, had been forced, fake.
Harry's real laugh was musical, and quite contagious.
They would just have to come up with a creative way to get back at the Marauder in training.
