Leo's POV

Leo's POV

I woke up this morning and threw on a shirt and jeans. My life was incomplete without Stargirl. Good thing it was a Saturday, because I was going to see her. Her memory and sweet scent hung vacantly in my mind. I promised we would see each other again, and I was about to make that promise.

It was 6:00 AM, too early for either of my parents to be up and awake. That was good. I grabbed my plane ticket and headed for my truck.

I longed to see her beautiful face and rat again. I could still feel his whiskers tickle me, one of the best memories from hiding behind her parent's vehicle. I snapped myself back to reality and drove away.

My only regret is: eventually I would have to go back. I don't think I could.

After the Plane Ride

The ride was long and exhausting, but worth it. In my pants pocket I found her address. I waited outside in the dark for any car that would be willing to give me a ride. I found a taxi.

I walked up to it. "You Mr. Johnson?" the taxi driver asked.

"Um, yeah. Here's the address, I don't think it's that far from here," although I really didn't know.

He started driving, then spoke. "It's a few minutes from here."

The rest of the ride was in silence. Those few minute felt like forever. I glanced at the clock. 9:12 P.M. One more minute, or less, I told myself. The suspense was painful.

"We're here. Your total comes to..." he began.

I finished, " Keep the change." I handed him a twenty. He took it gratefully and drove off.

I couldn't stop staring at the house she lived in, I was but 10 steps away from the most magnificent girl I'd ever met. So willing to change for a boy like me. I really didn't deserve her.

I took one step before she opened the door and gasped.

"LEO!! Oh my god! What are you doing here?!" I was as shocked as she was.

"Keeping my promise," was all I could muster.

I walked up to her quickly and embraced her in a tight hug. Her scent was better than I remembered.

Not my favorite chapter at all. It's really short, but I didn't have much time. I'll have a new one posted tomorrow. I still have a Twilight story to work on, you know.
