A/N: I don't own the awesome Monkey team… *sobs* I decided to write a one-shot based on the episode: "I, Chiro. Basically I wanted to get the thoughts of Chiro when he turned a monkey and fled from the team…(He was so cute as the monkey =^^=) Ohhh… This will be in Chiro's P.O.V.
Why did you do it? Why did you risk everything just to save me? I don't know anymore but I needed to think so that's why I ran away from the others or maybe it wasn't to think but to feeling guilt of not being able to save you as you done for me and this team. I really let them down… I let you down. Some leader I turned out to be huh? Antauri… you don't know what you've done for me and to see you throw yourself to the pit of darkness…to death, it tore me up. I never knew my parents and I don't think I want to know who they were… why? Because I already have a family and you Antauri are my family and also my father. Father? When I find you… or better yet whenever I find you that is, I hope your ready to explain your actions! I have faith that somewhere out there, I'll find you. I know you with me right now, aren't you Antauri? You were always with me… father and when we were together fighting Mandarin and Skeleton King, I felt all the doubt in mind, all the sadness in my heart, all the fear, uplifted from my very soul and turned into you…Father you were always by my side through thick and thin and now as I look in the river in this bizarre jungle, trying to find my way out and find you, all I see is myself. I gasp as I see what I've become… a monkey but a lost and confused one. I'm a son trying to find his father. I look at my reflection one last time but instead of seeing me, I see… You, I see you Antauri…Father. You disappear one final time and I see in your eyes' that you don't want me to stop my quest. You're right Antauri, you wouldn't stop to rest if it were me so why should I stop? As I run… my spirits are much more brighter than before as your face reappears through the sunlight. It symbols the dawn in of a new era. I will find you father and even if I died doing so, my soul will be happier knowing that I did something special for you. But I won't die and I won't stop… Like the saying goes: "Obstacles are also Opportunities," my obstacles will be rewarding in the long run. And when I find you, I believe that your safe return to us to me will be my greatest opportunity… Father, hold on your son is on his way… I will find you…Father.
