Well...it's a oneshot...you can imagine it as any soldier...which really only gives you two choices...:) Enjoy!
I watched it. One moment we were fighting for our lives, families, and countries. Above us were eagles and fell beasts battling in the air. Their screeches could barely be heard over the battle's clamor. When I looked up, the Nazgul were flying away. Then it happened. In that next moment, a change was felt. We all looked up-both man and orc-to see what was happening.
I could hear some kind of screaming. It wasn't human and I knew it wasn't one of the Nazgul. What was it? I looked at the Eye. I think that's when we all stopped. Even in that distance, I could see the Eye expand, its fiery orb intense. It was the Eye screaming. Some of the orcs started pushing their way out of the battle. We let them go. We didn't care, we were mesmerized by the sight.
With fascination I watched as the eye suddenly minimize to a small sphere-tiny from this distance. It exploded so suddenly. It was there-then it wasn't. I could almost see it's shockwave. I believe that's when the rest of the Mordor horde started to flee. When the shockwave neared us, I thought we would be bowled over, or swallowed into the earth, just like everywhere else it reached. But it didn't. It was as if an invisible wall protected us, for when it reached us, it stopped so abruptly but continued its destructive path around us.
But this only registered as the events played back in my mind over and over again. Because the tower was collapsing. It didn't fall over, just in. Down, straight down, debris was pushed outward with its force. Shards of wood and metal flew every which way. I began to laugh and cry at the same time. It was the most glorious sight I had ever seen.
I could hear a small voice cheering, "Frodo! Frodo!" I wasn't quite sure what or who Frodo was, but I almost wanted to join in. The voice stopped when Mount Doom erupted.
It had begun rumbling and I didn't know what was happening. But then, great big blobs of fire-red, orange, and black things- shot out from the top of the mountain like fire-works. It was incredible, like nothing I'd ever seen. Only a few minutes passed when I saw the great eagles fly off toward the mountain. At the moment, I didn't really care. So I went on watching.
I'm still not sure how long it had been until the eagles came back. I squinted up at them. I could see the wizard's white form on the back of one, but in two of the bird's claws were figures that I couldn't quite make out. Yet, somehow, I realized that they were heroes. Yes, they were the heroes responsible for our victory that day. That glorious day.
Well...it's not my best...but...review?
