This is more of a Greek myth story and not a Percy Jackson Fan-fic. Read if you would like to anyways.
Prologue
There was nothing. Not even darkness. Suddenly, an egg appeared out of this nothingness. It hatched and out came Chaos, symbolizing the void state of uncreated matter and the sky. From this formless figure rose Erebus (darkness), Nyx (night), Gaia (earth) and Phusis (nature) not necessarily in that order. Chaos entered an eternal sleep, vowing never to intervene in the affairs of Protogenoi, Gods, Titans or mortals. Before leaving, Chaos appointed Erebus and Nyx to be the rulers of the universe and then gave them a scepter. Erebus and Nyx consorted and brought forth many children like Aether, Epiphron, Thanatos, Hypnos, Charon, The Fates etc. After eons of peaceful ruling, Erebus and Nyx asked Gaia to bring forth her lover, equal and consort. This took further many more eons and after lots of hard work, Gaia brought forth Ouranos from her own body to be her lover and equal. The scepter was then passed over to Ouranos and Gaia signifying transfer of rule. However, Erebus and Nyx warned that they would rise again in the future and would be on the side of victory. They then faded. Ouranos then took Chaos' place as the Sky and ruled over the universe peacefully for many eons.
