Just another little poem I wrote! I hope you like it!

He my toy soldier,

I his dancing doll.

Stuck on a pedestal,

Trying not to fall

We see eye to eye, and soul to soul.

That's not even all.

Although we may be wind up toys,

With no destiny to love and hold,

We cherish our time together.

The smiles,

The love.

People say toys feel no emotion,

No sorrow,

No pain.

But that doesn't mean we can't go dance in the rain.

Although we have our wind up keys,

That don't let us do what we please

We have each other.

Really that's all we need.

He my toy soldier,

I his dancing doll,

Both stuck on a pedestal,

Trying not to fall.

We may be in love, but that doesn't change,

The life we hold dear,

Or the pain we all fear.

He my toy soldier,

And I his dancing doll,

Have freed ourselves from the wind up keys,

And can go live the life we please.

He my toy soldier,

And I his dancing doll,

Have been freed from the pedestal,

No longer caring if we fall.
