Neverland
When she was young she dreament of pirates, faries and treasure,
but now she has grown old.
She had forgotton how to fly.
She lay in a bed, a machine keeping her above sea,
as no one was as close to death as she.
She smiled about the places she'd been and all the beautiful things she'd seen.
Her heart ached and missed the thrill of air,
blowing gently through her hair.
As her clock stopped clicking the shadow appeared, just like all those years ago.
Followed by a boy in green, who yearned at her to go.
The woman smiled as her fragile hand was taken into his,
soft youth upon her skin.
The smiling boy took her hand, and took her back to Neverland.
