Akira sighed, looking up at the fire-wielding shiseiten that sat on a rock behind him.
Akira leaned back against the same rock, closing his big, bright-blue eyes.
Then he heard Hotarus voice call out his name.
He looked up, meeting the others eyes.
"What is it?" the ice-dragon asked, surprised that the mind-in-the-clouds-Hotaru spoke at all.
"Come up here." Hotaru said lazily, patting on the stone, motoning for the whiteblond boy to sit next to him.
Akira jumped up next to Hotaru, setteling down on the stone.
Hotaru quickly lifted Akira up in his lap.
The youngest shiseiten yelped in surprise as he did so.
"Hotaru, what're you doing"
But the only answer he got was Hotaru wrapping his arms around the boy's waist, pulling him close to his chest, so close Akira could hear Hotarus calm and rythmic heartbear. "..Hotaru"
There had been times -very few times- when they had been alone like this, everytime they ended up exploring in the world of love.
They hadn't gone very faron the path of sin, since Akira was so small, but Hotaru found it harder and harder to resist the feeling to just sweep the boy off his feet and take him then and there.
But Hotaru cared far too much about the chibi to just do it without Akira being ready.
Hotaru kissed the nape of Akiras neck. "This will be the last time for quite some time." Hotaru murmured. "The biggest war we've ever seen is coming."
