Like Other Girls
A/N My first Avatar Last Airbender fic in a while but I hope you guys like.
It's about Zuko and Toph's daughter Sora who is blind like her Mom but sees through Earth bending like her Mom but doesn't want to be the heir of the Fire Nation so decides to run away to somewhere she belongs and where she van be somebody besides a blind kid.

Sora Bei Fong sighed as she woke later as the rays of sunlight entered her room but she smiled remembering her parents were still asleep but that was a good thing as she put on clothes that made her look like a boy as her long brown hair was messy and unkempt the way she liked it but snuck out but hated living in the Fire Nation and being the Princess but it was because of her parents.
Her mother Toph Bei Fong was a blind but very powerful Earthbender and could see with her feet but also through her Earthbending but could also metal bend which no other Earthbender could do in their lives but she'd ran away from her home and wealthy family to help the Avatar learn Earthbending but that was long ago but her father was none other than Fire Lord Zuko.
He was a powerful Firebender but kind and wise but treated all four Nations aa a whole but that didn't matter because most of the kids in the Fire Nation could tell Sora and her Mom weren't from the Fire Nation and she usually used her powerful Earthbending moves because like her Mom, she was born blind but her mother had taught her to use her Earthbending to see since she was little.
She hoped her father didn't know that she snuck out to fight.
She remembered the story of how her mother met Aang the Avatar at Earth Rumble 6 and became his Earth bending teacher but he helped her escape from a life she hated but Sora loved that story because she longed to be free and travel like her Mom.
"Maybe I should leave.
What does the Fire Nation have for me here?" she thought as she returned home.
As usual her father was busy with important things and her mother was teaching Earth bending.
Sora smiled running up to her room........
Later that night both Zuko and Toph noticed their daughter was quiet as they ate dinner but had a feeling something was bothering her but wanted to see what was wrong but she had a feeling Sora hated being in the Fire Nation just as she had hated being trapped in her family's home because she was blind but sighed knowing Sora felr alone and misunderstoos but saw her excuse herself from the table but she went to her room.
She smiled as she was finishing packing things she would need while away but touched something on her bedside table as she used her Earth bending to bring it to her but sighed knowing it was a locket from her parents and had been given to her when she was born as a symbol of their love for her as she put it around her neck but waited to leave until her parents were asleep but it didn't take long but before leaving, she left an note to tell them she was gone but would come back some day as she left the Fire Nation by sneaking onto a ship which was heading for the Earth Kingdom which suited Sora fine but she fell asleep as it made it's way out of the Fire Nation.
Zuko was heartbroken finding the letter in Sora's room after going to wake her but was angry as he accidentally did Fire bending but stopped when he realised what he'd nearly done but Toph wondered what was wrong but knew what was wrong, that Sora had ran away but knew this would've happened sooner or later but hoped she would be safe where she was but had a feeling she was headed for her old home, the Earth Kingdom but Zuko understood as he went to have breakfast but couldn't believe his daughter had done this.
"Just let her be safe." he said softly before eating........
