They ditched me.again, thought Max
~Flashback~
Max had been at the mall just looking around, until he saw Tyson, Ray, Kenny, Kai, and Emily (from the All Stars) together at a party shop.
Max called out, "Hey guys!" and he knew they heard because Emily looked at him and whispered something to the other Bladebreakers and they hurriedly walked away trying to ignore him.

Max's POV
This was not the first time I saw them with Emily. Above all people, why Emily? Why couldn't it be Lee or something? The other Bladebreakers seemed to be ignoring me more during the past week and spending a whole lot of time with Emily. I even saw them at a Beyblading store buying some parts. And I thought Emily was my friend and probably a little more but now I'm not so sure. Am I being..replaced?
End of Max's POV
Max went in the training room and launched Draciel. "Hey Draciel, do you think I'm that bad that they need to replace me with Emily?"
Draciel curled up around Max and made a kind of no movement. "Thanks buddy, at least I know you'll never replace me."
For the next half an hour or so wondering his thoughts out loud and didn't notice that people were entering the room, "Am I that bad?" Max questioned himself.
"No why do you think that?"
"Well my so called friends are replacing me....hey Draciel can't talk!" Max half yelled and turned around. He hadn't meant anyone to hear.
"We're not replacing you. C'mon let's go." Tyson said as he pulled Max before he could say anything.
Tyson pulled Max to the living room. It was dark and quiet, then suddenly..."Surprise! Happy Birthday Max!" yelled the Bladebreakers and some other teams. Max was shocked, he was so busy practicing 'n worrying that he forgot he was turning 13.
Tyson, Ray, Kenny, Kai (who looked bored as if he had something better to do), Emily, Max's mom, and some other people handed Max some presents. Tyson came up to Max and said, "We didn't replace you, buddy. We just needed time to get ready for the party and when there's a party there's always food!" as Tyson started stuffing his face up. "We got Judy to help because she knows stuff that we don't!" shouted Ray over the music. Max smiled, he had a little crush on Judy too. Then Emily came up and said, "Happy Birthday Max!" then after the party when almost everyone left and only Max and Judy were in the room. Emily went up to kiss him on the lips and they both blushed.
Suddenly Tyson walked in on their moment of staring at each other. As Tyson walked by he noticed that something had happened and said, "Wow it's sure getting hot in here." And laughed as he walked away. Emily then said, "Well I better go know. See ya." "Ummz thanks for coming." He said kinda shy. "I wouldn't miss it for the world." She said as she left.
