Slenderpony waitd quietly in the woods, watching and waiting. He watched some little foals run through the woods laughing and chasing each other.
Silly little foals...Didn't they know not to go into the forest alone?
Slenderpony would've grinned if he had a mouth instead he swooped through the forest using his tentacles, following them.
One of the foals stopped and looked around.
"Did you hear that?" He asked.
"What do you mean Pumpkinsquash?" Another foal asked whose name was Multimuffin.
"I thought I heard something...but I guess not." Pumpkinsquash said. He looked at Purplepony who was a small blue colt.
"It's getting kind of late." Said Purplepony. "Maybe that's why...mybe you're getting spooked."
"SPOOKED? ME?" Pumpkinsquash laughed. "Nuh uh. Besides, we haven't finished our game of tag!"
He laughed and tapped Purplepony lightly with his hoof. Purplepony grumbled.
"I don't want to play anymore."
"Oh yeah, why, because you're IT?" Multimuffin laughed. Then he and Pumpkinsquash ran away laughing. Purplepony groaned and started walking after them not really caring. But then he heard a noise too- a somewhat whoosy noise behind him. He looked behind him and saw what appeared to be a black blur but it went away quickly.
"Hello? Is someone there?" He asked. He looked around.
Meanwhile Pumpkinsquash and Multimuffin stopped, breathing hard and looking around. Purplepony wasn't following them. Where was he?
After waiting a bit they decided to go back so Purplepony didn't get lost, but on their way there they heard a scream. They galloped faster toward their friend but when they got there all there was was some blood splattered in the dirt...
"Purplepony?" Multimuffin cried. "Are you ok? Where are you!"
There was no response...
They turned around hearing an odd static-y noise in the air...and there was SLENDERPONY! He was holding himself up above them with his tentacles and he swopped down grabbing them and vanished. But he grabbed them so hard he ripped open some skin and so blood splatted on the ground. All that was left of the three colts was splats of blood in the dirt and they soaked into the dirt leaving no trace of them...they were never seen again.
