I was watching this and I love the lake scene and thought about making this....my first Iron Giant fanfic. Dean is my fav character BTW. ^-^
Hogarth and his family were at the lake enjoying their day. Hogarth and Jasmine didn't have school and Annie didn't have to go into work, and Dean had nothing better to do. A few months ago they found out that the Giant was still alive and had managaed to make his way back to Rockwell. The family gave him the barn to stay in and it took ahile but they finally got Jasmine to trust him. Jasmine was 4 years old and Dean's biological daughter.
She had hear stories of the Giant, and she was glad she finally got to see him...even though he made her nervous at times. Hogarth just turned 13, his voice was still the same...changing a little bit but the same. The Giant still looked the same, nothing was different..even after the crash. " Hey Guys....watch this!" Hogarth yelled from a small cliff over the lake. his mother who was sitting in the water with Jasmine gave her son s wave and smiled.
" Go on Hogarth we're watching!" He stepped back and then ran, going full speed off of the side and doing a belly flop into the lake. The minute he his the water he screamed and sank like a rock, coming back up a few minutes later with a red chest and stomach. " Ow......lets not do that again." he said as Jasmine pointed up from the place Hogarth had just been.
" Look...Giant...man!" Hogarth looked up and the sun shine that was hitting them before was now nothing but a large shadow. Dean lay up on the sand, he didn'r bother to change into any kind of swim wear. So he was just dressed in the usual black clothes, he also watched as the giant tried to copy Hogarth, running off the edge and doing a belly flop as well.
Hogarth, Annie, and Jasmine watched as Dean sat there for a minute. He knew the water was going to mostly come to him cause the giant landed closer to him. He shut his eyes and put his hand on his face.
Annie and the others sat there and laughed as they saw Dean dissappear with the water, " He HAHAHAHA.....yea..good one Giant!" as he jumped up and and walked to where Dean had been a few minutes ago. Annie grabbed Jasmine and wrapped her in a towel and they followed him.
The Iron Giant got up from the water and looked around too.
" Where did h-"
" Here...."
Annie was cut off as they heard a voice. Hogarth moved around and saw Dean laying on a tree branch, his clothing soaked. He started to move when he felt something grab his shirt and put him back on the ground.
" Hee Hee....Giant got you wet daddy!" Jasmine continued to laugh as Dean stood still dripping water and Annie handed him her towel. " Thanks...this wouldn't be the first time." he muttered as Hogarth laughed remembering the incident before.
" I think that is enough fun for today...." Dean said as Annie smiled and moved her hand through his hair, her dry hand became wet. " Yea, lets head for home." she said as they climbed into the Giants hand that he had lowered to the ground.
" We...go....home.." The Iron Giant spoke as he walked towards the small house across the train tracks.
ALRIGHT, I KNOW THIS IS NOT THAT GOOD...BUT I HAVE NEVER WRITTEN AN IRON GIANT FANFIC AND I JUST WROTE IT. I HOPE YOU LIKED IT!
