This fanfiction sadly happens after the events of "Act Your Age" although nothing about that episode will be mentioned here.

Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated! In the morning…

"Good morning, sir!" The usual and cheery greeting met the professor, as if kissing him on the cheek. His dreary eyes looked forward, observing his "giant killer robot" making his way to the stove, tripping on the rug, spilling his coffee and dropping his magazines on the way there.

The professor grunted as he sat on his working chair. "One egg or two, sir?" but as always the robot dumped the whole carton of eggs into the stove. The professor, Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz, stared at his robot, Norm, in disbelief. He was tired of the greeting. The eggs. The routine.

"Never mind, Norm, you can feed the eggs to the cat. I'm going for an early start on my inator."

Heinz settled himself on his sofa as he takes out his scrapbook. It was a collection of his early memories. Those backstories didn't come out of nowhere, you know.

"Let's see, day 167 of my childhood. He flips to page 167 of his scrapbook.

"I can't wait to see what I have went through. It's just…so nostalgic." He looks at the audience confidently.

Scene then pans to Isabella Garcia-Shapiro's house, before zooming into her room.

Isabella was still sleeping peacefully. Usually, she would be woken up violently by her alarm clock or her dog, Pinky. But today, something seemed different. Nothing wanted to wake her for some reason. Let's take a look, shall we? *Soft guitar strum begin to play in background*

Camera zooms into Isabella's mind. Don't worry, it's not literally.

*Beat starts to play*

(To the beat of Style – Taylor Swift)

This night, you come and pick me up, glow in your eyes
Long drive, could end in burning flames or paradise
Stroll into you, oh,
It's been a while since I have had a day with you
(Day with you)
I should just tell you to leave 'cause I
Know exactly where it leads but it

Just goes round and round each time

You got that James Dean daydream look in your eye
And I got that hair bow, classic thing that you like
And when we go crashing down, we come back every time
'Cause we never go out of style, we never go out of style
You've got that red hair slick back, striped t-shirt
And I got that good girl faith and a tight purple skirt
And when we go crashing down, we come back every time
'Cause we never go out of style, we never go out of style

So it goes, he can't keep his wild eyes on his tools
Like a lawn gnome, lights are on he's not taking his coat (Hm sigh)
I say "I've heard that you've been out and about with your inator"
(your inator)
He says "What you've heard is true but I
Can't stop thinking about you and I."
I said "I've never been there one time"

'Cause you got that James Dean daydream look in your eye
And I got that hair bow, classic thing that you like
And when we go crashing down, we come back every time
'Cause we never go out of style, we never go out of style
You've got that red hair slick back, striped t-shirt
And I got that good girl faith and a tight purple skirt (A tight purple skirt)
And when we go crashing down, we come back every time
'Cause we never go (We never go) out of style, we never go out of style

Let me go
Don't let me go
Yeah don't let me go, oh

(Out of style) You got that James Dean daydream look in your eye
And I got that hair bow, classic thing that you like
And when we go crashing down, we come back every time
'Cause we never go out of style, we never go out of style

(Let me go) You've got that red hair slick back, striped t-shirt
(Yeah, don't let me go) And I got that good girl faith and a tight purple skirt
(Oh) And when we go crashing down, we come back every time
'Cause we never go out of style, we never go out of style…

Isabella's eyes opened in surprise. Even Taylor Swift's love story was better than hers. If Taylor ever had one.

She jumped out of bed. "Oh no, I'm late for Phineas!" She gallops out of her room, not even remembering to fix her daily hair problem, to perform her morning ablutions. Ablutions? Ablutions. Wow, the words you can learn from this show.

"Isa! Wake up! Sun's already risen long ago!" Isabella's mother shouted from her room. "Yeah, mom!" Isabella hollered, running towards the bathroom and slipping on her skirt at the same time. Like that was easy.

As the Fireside Girl leader brushed her teeth, she looked at herself in the mirror. "C'mon, Fireside Girl, the dream gave you a sign. You are able to make your life as blessed as in the music video…I mean, the dream. You never know how he may feel until you ask, right? That's how the universe works, right? That's how life works, right? That's how humans work, right? If only the universe was nicer towards people with difficulties like…" Isabella realised how far she had drifted from her topic.

Really far.

She had to tell Phineas. Somehow. Through the countless times of trying, every day, despite her attempts getting harder and harder, would still end up worthless. But today, is not the day. Today, she will go. Today, she will see. Today, she will fight.

Today, she will conquer.

Scene switches to Phineas and Ferb's house.

Linda Flynn-Fletcher opened her window. The smell of the early summer breeze blew in. "Mmmmm, smells like a great day."

"Race you down the stairs, Ferb!" Once she heard the speech, Linda immediately grabbed the plates and the boys' favourite cereal, ready for their arrival. If only her life was as good as theirs. She would either spend her free time in the kitchen or out for something big. She would never get the time to spend time with the boys, so carefree and happy. She added that to her to-do list but so far no opportunities surfaced.

Phineas hopped down the stairs while Ferb slid down the banister. "Fine, Ferb. You win this time." Phineas chuckled. "Hey, Mom! Cereal?" "Cereal's on the table!" The caring voice echoed from the kitchen.

"So Ferb, today's activity shall be the backyard railroad?" Phineas asked gleefully as he sat on a chair around the table. Ferb nodded his head. To Phineas, a nod from Ferb was equal to a reply from him. Yes, Ferb was THAT quiet.

"I've been thinking. I think I need to open myself up. So far this summer, who have I been mixing with? You, Baljeet, Buford, Isabella…" Phineas seemed to drift off at the thought of Isabella. He always had this strange gut feeling whenever she was around him. Her cheerful catchphrase. Her countless attempts to help him. Her dreamy eyes. It all seemed so spectacular. Her actions somehow brought herself closer to him. Could it be? Could Isabella…

"Phineas? Phineas?" Ferb shook Phineas from his thoughts. "What? Oh, sorry, I was lost in my head again. As I was saying… I think I should widen my social circle a bit. You know, by going around the neighbourhood, meeting new kids? How cool would that be! We may even meet eager builders just like us! Or cool and trendy kids! Ferb, I know what we're going to do today!" Phineas announced to Ferb as if on cue.

To Ferb, everyday was a cycle. On and on, on and on. His life seemed bland compared to Phineas'. However, he never complained. He was not one to complain though. Building spectacular structures with his stepbrother was his life. Meeting new people was hard for him. No matter how many times he had heard Phineas talk about the quiet one usually being the cooler one, he always felt something inside him was empty. He could never communicate well with new people. He rarely communicated anyways. Going around the neighbourhood? Meeting new kids? That's not a really great activity. "How about the railroad?" Ferb protested.

"Tomorrow!" Phineas hopped off his chair and sped to the backyard, leaving Ferb glued to his chair, alone. "Hey, where's Perry?" he asked no one, as if on cue, towards the imaginary audience in front of him. He sniggered at his wild imagination.

And the day's just getting started.

Don't worry, the fourth wall is just shattered, our mechanics should be able to fix it up by the next update.
