The Brightness Within
She had a smile that warmed his soul.
a look that twinkled and, danced in her big chocolate eyes.
He knew that only he could make her happy and safe from night terrors that haunted her, reminding her that she had demons for her past watching.
He loved her.
He loved the way she called his name in her exotic and beautiful voice.
He loved her natural brown curls that pooled out and around her back.
He loved the tone and texture of her skin,
with its olive tan, so smooth
when they hugged she melted into him.
He loved everything about her.
She had a smile that brightened up the day.
This was her brightness within.
