Katarina Bishop had a love for many things. She loved to steal famous artwork, to sit around Uncle Eddie's kitchen eating bowls of wonderful soup, even to hang out with the Bagshaws who occasionally, were very large troublemakers. One thing Kat did not love however happened to be riding on an inner-tube. Which, after Hale, she was next in line for.

"Come on Kitty Kat, it's not that bad!" Gabrielle cheered, trying to encourage her cousin.

"Are you kidding? I think I might be sick just watching Hale!" Kat stared out into the clear blue waters, watching as Hale flew over a large wave. He was barely hanging on to the sides of the tube, and seemed to be caught between feeling terror and giddiness. Marcus was in the front of the boat, driving at about 80 miles per hour. This boat, the S.S. Hazel, happened to be one of Hale's slower boats.

Suddenly, a large wave came into view, and Hale flew off as the inner- tube flipped over him. Kat tried to scream, but her shriek was stifled by the view of Hale the Fifth floating to the surface, cheering his thanks for the awesome ride. Kat gripped the side of the boat harder.

The boat ripped around and went back for Hale. The ocean was clear and gorgeous, but Kat could feel the sharks surrounding them. Hale climbed over the side of the boat and smiled, " Kat, your turn!" She tried to smile back, but everyone could tell it was forced. Wearing her navy blue two- piece, she crawled over the side and flopped into the inner- tube, preparing for one of her greatest fears.

"Marcus, can you go a little bit slower at firs-!" Kat tried to yell, but the boat was already speeding ahead, yanking the cord that attached the tube to the boat. Kat shut her eyes and held on for dear life, thankful for her life jacket.

She opened one eye, then the other. The boat was looming just ahead, and Kat was beginning to enjoy the breeze going through her hair. She loosened her grip on the tube. She smiled, and waved at Gabrielle, as her cousin started to jump up and down in joy. Even while wearing a brown one- piece (Gabs insisted that it was the latest fashions) Gabrielle managed to look completely adorable, as usual. Kat opened her mouth and began to laugh as Hale made silly faces at her.

A large wave came into focus. Katarina lost her smile, and gave the group on the boat a terrified glance. This wave was larger than the one that flipped Hale off. Kat sucked in breath waiting for the tube to flip. Her eyes shut.

She waited a few moments, feeling dizzy, as if she had been lifted out of the water. She opened her eyes to cheers and shouting, and saw Marcus, Gabrielle, and Hale all pointing at her. She looked down. She was still sitting in the inner- tube, soaking wet. She had survived! The boat pulled around next to her, and Kat climbed onto up the metal ladder. Peaking over the side Kat, whose smile was spreading from ear to ear, asked, "Can we comeback tomorrow?"
