Thalia focused on the environment around her. She was taught that in order to use the bow correctly you should let yourself hear the nature that surrounded you and shoot like you and the arrow are just part of it. If she'd heard that speech from any other person she would've thought it was really lame, but bee the own goddess of the hunt that taught her that, she thought it'd be best not to ignore it. So she took a shot hitting the small target located several meters away from the huntress.

- Damn it girl, you would kick Alec's ass with that bow, and he's not even that bad with it - A masculine voice called her attention, and by reflex she turned quickly to face him while pointing the bow to his head and shot an arrow.

Her movement was fast enough to kill even the fastest of the demigods. But she should know he was not one of them. The boy with blond hair and golden eyes moved so quickly that she couldn't even see him. One minute he was right in front of her, about to die, and the other he was behind her pressing a dagger softly against her neck. Even the slightest of the movements could mean her death.

So she shocked him. He stepped back releasing her by instinct, and with a quick turn, she knocked the dagger off his hands and pressed the boy against a tree - Don't mess with a huntress of Artemis, boy - the way she pronounced the last word reminded her of Zoe, like it was a terrible insult to call him that.

-Pretty and feisty … I like it - He said with a seductive smile. His eyes glared golden and for a moment there her stomach felt like it was filled with butterflies. The daughter of Zeus stepped back - You should leave. This is no place for boys. - She said, but all the strength she had in her voice was gone.

-What's the matter? Can't resist my dazzling charm? - He said reaching his hand out to touch her hair. She dodged quickly from his hand. - Nothing… You just remind me a lot of someone - She said. Why was she explaining herself to this complete stranger anyway? The electricity in her eyes seemed to fade a little while her heart started beating like crazy. It's because he didn't remind her of just anyone…

-Luke? - She asked, feeling silly afterwards. Of course it couldn't be him, Luke was dead, but there was something about him, his confidence and his golden blond hair that made everything come back to her as a wave. The boy looked serious for the first time - I've been called many names… But people know me as Jace right now… Just Jace.

-I'm Thalia - she introduced herself - Just Thalia. - She allowed herself looking into his eyes once again. He was like her. Doomed. Cursed to love someone he could never have, she could see it in him in the same way that she could see it in herself every time she looked in a mirror.

- Do you also think… - he started saying after a long silence - it would be better if we could just…Forget? - He said touching her hair delicately. This time she didn't offer any resistance to the touch. Electricity flew between them. But it wasn't the kind of when she was mad, it was something so normal and intense that scared her. She closed her eyes feeling his fingers run through her hair then slowly move to her cheeks and down into her neck making her whole body shiver intensely.

- I guess - she opened her electric blue eyes - we wouldn't know if we didn't try - Jace moved faster than when he was dodging her arrow and quickly changed places with her pushing her against the tree. She put her arms around him while he applied several kisses from in her neck, going up as they got more intense. When finally their lips met, they were so full of passion and desire that in that moment, they were really capable of forgetting anything.
