Life sucks huh i know mine does my parents just split up i saw it coming but just wished it didnt now i have to move from my home in texas to santa carla california.

My name is Skylar Jade Matthews i have brown hair with light purple strips on it and my eyes are brown with gold flecks im not a preppy type girl i wear black blue and purple and mostly dark colors.

So thats me right now im in the car with my mom Kate and our dog Storm we are almost to santa carla woohoo not im pulled out of my thoughts by my mother.

"Skylar honey dont look so down it will be fun in santa carla "Says my mom .

"I dont see why we had to leave texas mom" i say to her " Well honey you know your dad got the house and thought you needed a said.

I turn and look out the window Wow its nice here punks walk the street and cool theres a bordwalk too maybe i will like it here.

We pull up to our new house its a bit run down but nice i walk in side and wow its soo cool i go up to my new room and open the door and gasp its perfect red walls and black floors.

In the middle of the room theres a king size bed with rose on its bed frame i go out to the car to get my stuff and go back up to my new room to unpack i plug my ipod in to its dock and put on a song called (Make it shine).

Im done unpacking so i go down stairs to ask my mom if i can go to the boredwalk "Hey mom can i go to the boredwalk?"I ask.

"Sure honey have fun and put a jacket on"She says with a smile.

So i run up to my room to get my black leather jacket and head to the boredwalk it just got dark wow the boredwalk is so cool i go on the ride that spins i cant remember the name of it i just got off.

When i run in to someone i turn and look up to say sorry but im meet with icy blue eyes that are looking right at mine they look at me and just stare in to my eyes its like hes looking right at my soul i look away and say "im so sorry i did not see you there"I say.

The guy just smirks so i turn to leave when a strong hand pulls me back i turn and look up at the guy "Im sorry whats your name ?"He asks "Skylar "I says to him.
