Shadow the Hedgehog
Chapter 1: Jailbreak
In the middle of New York city, 2 hedgehogs were brawling. One was a blue hedgehog, the hero. But the other was green, and evil. They both looked nearly exactly like each other. The green one held a green emerald in his hand, while the blue held a blue emerald. The blue hedgehog was the famous Sonic the Hedgehog.
"All right, who are you?" Sonic shouted. "And how did you get my emerald?" The hedgehog smirked. "The names Scourge. Scourge the Hedgehog." He said. "And I'm here to finish you!" He shot forward at Sonic speed. Sonic leapt over him at the last second and kicked Scourge hard. Scourge crashed into a brick wall. He slumped down. He managed to stand. He glared. "You win this round, blueboy." He said. He raised his emerald. "CHAOS CONTROL!" He shouted. He vanished. Sonic stared. "Chaos...control?" He said.
Meanwhile...
Doctor Robotnik sat in prison. He pressed a small button on his wristwatch. Within minutes, robots swarmed into the jail. They killed several people and managed to free their master. They carried him off to his partly ruined factory base.
Once there, the doctor turned on the television. His eyes widened as he saw a video of downtown New York being wrecked. And the source of the destruction was...A black hedgehog. The hedgehog laughed evilly and picked up a pistol. The hedgehog shot someone in the head. He dashed up to the camera and broke it with a punch.
Robotnik turned to his robots. "Bring him to me." He said. The robots flew off.
A black and red hedgehog sat in a ghetto part of New York, juggling a red emerald in one hand and a pistol in the other. He laughed evilly. "I cant believe it. I, Jason Wesley, have finally obtained the power to destroy my archenemy, Kyle Thompson!" He dashed away at a high speed. Once he hit the speed of sound, he transformed into a teenager wearing black leather with red dyed hair. He tossed the pistol aside.
Kyle: Hey everyone. I figured I should come back and explain who this character is. He's my rival for fastest kid in school, Jason Wesley. People call him emo, due to the color choice, but he's not. He's actually a pretty cool guy, except for the fact that he doesn't really have any friends, except for his new girlfriend, Rouge. So, on with the story…
The next day, Sunday, Jason turned back into the hedgehog form and robbed a bank, with the help of a jewel thief of a bat named Rouge. Yup, his girlfriend. Able to become a bat. Suddenly a bunch of robots surrounded them. "Crap!" Jason said. Rouge said, "See ya sugar. You're on your own." She flew off. Jason shrugged. "I don't blame her for leaving." He leapt at the robots, ripping them apart by hand, but soon, they overpowered him. One of them grabbed him and electrocuted him. Jason screamed in pain and fainted. The robots flew off.
"Wake up, Jason." A familiar voice demanded. Jason opened his eyes. "What the…Mister Robotnik?" He asked. "That's Doctor Robotnik to you." Eggman said. "And I have a proposition for you. How would you like to destroy Kyle, AKA Sonic the Hedgehog…" Jason's eyes widened as Eggman revealed Kyle's alter ego, "…Once and for all?" He asked. Jason smirked. "I'm listening." "Good. We'll need a name for your hedgehog form." Eggman said. Jason smirked, looking at his hedgehog body. "I…Am Shadow. Shadow the Hedgehog." He said. He laughed evilly.
