She could feel his weight as soon as it hit her shoulder and it surprised her that she didn't flinch. She didn't think about a time when those hands had caused her pain, couldn't seem to fathom that the same hand that trembled slightly on her shoulder, had done such horrible things. Her eyes met his, tears misting in them. She had been so worried for him. His mouth quirk up in an incredulous smile, making a noise that sounded like "You. Oh." And his arm draped across her figure. Her arm immediately moved to his waist supporting the weight from his battered body as they limped towards the exit of the cave. "You came for me." He muttered after a minute. She didn't answer, not with words anyway. Her only reply was a slight pressure of her fingers into his side as her grip on him tightened. And side by the side the Slayer and the vampire ascended to safety.
A.W.: I know, I know it's really short. But I did say it was a drabble. Anywho I LOVE this scene between the two of them, it is sweet and friendship and proof that they care about each other. Ok that's all I got (for now)
