take my chance on a beautiful stranger.
It all happened quickly. But before she knew it, she was sprawled on the ground, half dead.
She couldn't get up, she was too weak.
Then she saw him. He came quickly. She closed her eyes and awaited her death.
But she didn't feel the cold of his long sword. She felt a gentle hand on her arm.
She didn't know what was happening. He was the enemy. A Blood elf. Horde.
She was a Night Elf, Alliance. Her name was Elipsie.
He led her behind a tree and gave her food and water. He was saving her...the enemy.
He was taking pity on her. But he didn't look at her with pity. He looked at her with affection.
His long blonde hair fell around his shoulders gracefully, and she realised...he was beautiful.
This hurt abit to admit, she was captain of the team. She had fought in Warsong countless of times.
And all she had ever seen from the Horde were barbaric behaviour and the drums of war.
Never had she seen such kindness from such...brutal people.
He left her then, but not before pressing some bread into her hands and whispering something. Though she did not understand what.
She was strong enough then. She could have gone after him and slain him. Right there. But she didn't.
It wasn't only because he had saved her. He had a certain gleam, a little sparkle...in his big green eyes.
Then the shrill call sounded, it was the end of the battle. The Alliance had won.
As her fellow elves and humans, dwarves and gnomes cheered in battle. But she just couldn't.
She was looking for something, looking for him. She had to thank him. She had been brought up to be a lady elf.
To not be rude.
Surely she needed to thank him? She kept telling herself this. But truly, that wasn't why she wanted to see him again.
Then suddenly everything went blank. And she was gone from the battle field.
