I remember my life of being a creation. I was a creation for Mundus, an old enemy of Dante's father, Sparda. He created me and made me look like his mother so that he can be fooled. I easily fooled him into going to Mallet Island so Mundus can kill him. Upon his servants, including Nelo Angelo, have failed him, he sent me to do the job. Despite that, only Nightmare gets to do the fighting, not me. After the battle, I was about to get killed by some falling debris, but Dante saved my life. This is because I look like his mother. As I tried to explain I did all this because I was ordered by Mundus, he pulled out his gun to me, and leaves me coldly. I have no idea that he is angered by such deception. What have I done?
You too have failed me, Trish. You know the rules.
Mundus... I know what the consequence will be for failure. This time...
"No, Mundus, I'm not gonna follow your orders anymore," I replied. "I quit."
I use my teleport powers to teleport myself to Mundus' throne room. That way, while Dante is busy fighting the demons to get through there, I could redeem myself to him by defeating Mundus by myself. As I looked onto Mundus, he is just on his throne while he lets his minions do all that bidding for him. Maybe it's time to get some action coming out of him.
"So, you're rebelling against me, Trish," Mundus said in his usual deep voice. "I should have known you were beginning to have a heart like Dante."
"Yeah, a heart to have feelings!" I raised my hands to Mundus to unleash a lightning attack on him. As I looked on how it damaged him, it only damages his chest.
Mundus is really getting angry, "You'll pay for this!" He launches a bean coming out of his forehead. It's about to reach me, but I dodge it out of the way. I unleash another lightning attack to damage his shoulder. Did it do any damage? Yes, it did. He's hurt. I'm just hoping Dante is too busy fighting with the other demons. This is a surprise I'm going to give him to prove I'm a new person. A redeemed person, that is.
As I was about to finish him off, Mundus started to launch another type of attack on me. This time, he's about to use energy spikes to impale me to my chest and left shoulder. I could say I'm unable to cast another lightning spell. There's no way out for me. It's over.
"Okay, Mundus," I begin to speak up. "You win. Just kill me."
"So that you can be free from this faith?" Mundus asks in curiosity. He's been wondering of what I'm going to do about it. "No, Trish, I got a better idea." Suddenly, he uses some power to place me on some wall from near the entrance. "You're gonna stay there as bait for Dante. When he comes here, I'll kill him while you just watch."
So this ends my story. I tried to confront Mundus by myself, but I failed. I'm so sorry, Dante.
