Stories
Disclaimer: I do not own Lufia: The Ruins of Lore.
Yup. The boredness took over again, and this time, I wrote Stories. This was partway because I was tired of my boring old life and wished I could go into an RPG like the author in the story. Well, enjoy!
"If you don't let me on by 5:30, I'm shutting the computer off!" screamed a spoiled little girl who was sitting next to her older sister. The child stomped off in a hot-headed rage. The one at the computer sighed. This happened every day. She would get on the computer and start typing up a story, and her sister would bully her until she got off. Why couldn't life ever change? Take a turn for the better? I wish I could go on a grand adventure, the young author thought, that would be nice. With that, she got off the computer and walked outside.
It was hot and humid, as it always was in her town. Her boring, unchanging town, where she lived her boring, humdrum life. But she was different from the others. She had something special that kept her going. That special something was stories. Stories of bold adventurers setting out to save the world, stories of fairy princesses flitting about beneath the setting sun, these were the places she visited so often in her thoughts and dreams. Sure, she was considered a dreamer, with her head in the clouds, but she didn't mind, not so long as she had stories. Writing stories was just her way of expressing herself.
However, even though the world around her looked normal, today it most certainly was not. Little did the young author know that something extraordinary was about to happen to her. She walked along the sidewalk, conjuring up another intricately woven story inside her mind. She was so wrapped up in her thoughts that she didn't notice the rock in her path. She tripped over the rock went flying to the side. She fell into the bayou and all went dark.
When the young author woke up, she was no longer in her town. She was in...in...she didn't know. She looked around in wonder. She was in the middle of a large field. Such scenes of beauty had already been wiped out from the face of her planet by pollution and nuclear war. She knew that she must be in another world.
Being an author, she was absolutely thrilled to be in another world, but she figured it was best to get some information on where she was. She walked up to a nearby man.
"Excuse me, sir..."
"Oh, are you trying to get to Ordens?" asked the man, "Too bad. These trees are blocking the way. You could take that path over to the side, but it's overrun by monsters."
Overrun by monsters. MONSTERS! Like in RPGs..., she thought to herself, This is SO awesome. I'm in a role playing game! But which one...?
The young author turned around and walked down the path that was overgrown by tall grass. After a few minutes, she was hopelessly lost.
Gosh, I sure hope I don't run into a monster..., she thought. At that moment, she heard a voice ahead of her, about ten feet away.
"For the last time, WE'RE NOT LOST!!!" it said.
"Gosh, you don't have to scream about it," piped up another voice, extremely high pitched.
"Calm down, you two! Why do you always have to fight!?" said a third voice.
"STAY OUTTA THIS, ELDIN!!!" screamed the first voice.
The young author walked in the direction of the voices. Soon she came to a clearing, where a group of four people stood. One was a short boy with long brown hair tied back into a ponytail. He was standing there with a frown on his face, shaking his head. A tall blonde boy and a small teal-haired girl stood glaring at each other while a young purple haired woman stood about three feet away from the others, sighing and shaking her head.
The young author approached the four travelers.
"Excuse me? I'm lost. Can you please tell me where I am?"
So how did you like it?
Yama: why didn't I get to help?
'Cause you didn't. Anyways, plz review!
