Prologue

I felt broken. Never before had I experienced the emptiness and hollow hole in my heart until now. My world had stopped with that phone call. "Korra! She's missing," I heard, but it didn't sink in, not until the police had shown up at my apartment. But that as a week ago. Now I sit here, in a dark cell with no windows, my wrists chained behind me to the wall. I'm waiting for my chance to escape and saver her. Save my daughter. The only emotion ravaging my is fear and it is blood-chilling. If I lose her I'm not sure how I will go on.
