Prologue
Blood.
It was everywhere, the floor, the ceiling, the walls, the windows… and myself.
I don't know who or what made this mess but it was horrible.
Out of the corner of my eye I see movement.
I turn around and see Jasper, lingering in the shadows, watching me.
He steps out of the shadows and towards me.
In his arms is Bella, writhing in pain.
"We saved her." He whispered.
