Summary: Sam has a nightmare. Dean thinks it's just something that needs to happen.
Snip, snick, metal slips on skin.
Sam shudders, snuffles, then full on screams in his sleep.
Dean is there in an eye-blink, sympathetic.
Sam wakes, panic on his face and his hands fly up to his impressive bed-head, tangling in the too-long strands. Dean sits back, appraising.
"Don't tell me, it was the hair again."
Sam blushes, nods, then frowns when Dean guffaws.
"It's not funny, Dean!"
"Come on, dude. Lucifer let loose with clippers on those luscious locks is never not going to be fucking hairlarious!"
Sam groans at the terrible pun, which almost hurts worse than the dream.
