Future Plans
Harvey Dent formerly known as Two Face waited for Dr. Alexander to show. It had been a three months since Harvey had taken his mind back from his darker self. Vega had been visiting him weekly helping him to control the darkness inside. When his darker side began to call himself Dark Dent, Vega laughed claimed that the name was nothing more than a shadow name. A name that was their but hardly noticeable. Within the second month Dr. Alexander brought in the game Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories and showed him the similarities between Riku and himself. How they both had darkness inside them a need to channel it in the right direction. Rumors were that Dr. Alexander was pushing for the release of Harvey Dent which made the former DA nervous. He had no clue what was out in the world for him. He could no longer be a DA because of his criminal history. In fact due to his history he felt there was no future for him. The door opened as Vega entered the room taking the seat. "Good morning Mr. Dent. How are you felling today?"
"I've had better days. Is it true your trying to get me released?" Harvey asked nervously.
"That depends what do you plan to do when you get out?" Vega asked mischievously.
"I...I don't have anything planned." The DA reluctantly replied.
"Do you plan on getting you face fixed?" The Doctor asked.
"I guess. I mean will it destroy my dark side?"
"No." Vega answered quickly. "All you would be doing is burying your problems. And as we all know sooner or later things don't stay buried. According to your file you used to be a DA. Correct?" Vega asked looking through the patients' folder.
"Yeah...that is correct." Harvey replied giving him a strange look. Vega had know that Harvey was a Da for quite a while. Why was he asking such a strange question?
"You have a talent for speaking don't you?" Vega asked grinning like the Cheshire cat.
"I...suppose so. Where are you going with this?" Dent asked some what annoyed.
"Become a motivational speaker. Write a book how to conquer evil within a person. Tell them your tale and how you over took your darker half."
Harvey Dent's eyes lowered as he replied, "But I didn't over take my darkness. It was your doing."
"I merely opened a door. Your the one who took control of your body." Vega stated. "You can open doors for others. You beat the master criminal Two Face. You can show others how to beat the evil within and make the world a better place."
"Where would I have to start?" Harvey asked now intrigued.
"With this." Vega said said pulling out a Gideon testament. "Then we work on how to take criticism."
Harvey took the bible carefully and flipped through the pages before looking up and saying, "You believe in this crap?"
Vega merely smiled and replied, "I work at a nut house pulling off stunts that practically beg me to be killed, and yet here I am still alive and annoying people. I say someone's keeping an eye on me." Vega's smile disappeared as he stared hard at his patient. "You said you didn't have anything planned. What is stopping you from reading it?"
Harvey Dent looked through the bible again a scripture came out that caught his attention. 2 Corinthians 4; 2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
After Harvey read the verse he thought how it connected to his situation. How he had renounced the the evil in his life and how Dr. Alexander wanted his to speak God's word and save people from their own darkness. Harvey closed the bible again and asked, "When do we begin?"
