(Ginji P.O.V.)
Ban got into some trouble again. He parked the lady-bug in a yellow zone again. I tried to warn him, but he wouldn't hear me out. This has been happening a lot, lately. Ban doesn't seem like himself. He used to get really upset about his car getting towed, but not anymore.
"I'm going now, Ginji! I'll be back in a couple of hours!"
That's all he said before going out the door. I didn't realize that it took two hours to go pay a fine and pick up the car, since it was only a mile away. I noticed, this time, that he had a smile on his face as he left. Ban-chan… what is going on? Maybe I should…
(Ban-chan P.O.V.)
Ginji doesn't suspect a thing. I walked out of the house and he didn't ask any questions. He never does. It used to be such a hassle for me to go through the trouble of bailing out my beloved car; it was my number one… but now, it's number two, I think. I take a cab down to the station and I don't even think about my car. I pay the driver and make my way to the door. My palms are sweaty and I can hardly control myself. Today is the day, I think. Yes, I will do it today… I open the door and walk up to the beauty that sits behind the front desk of the fine office. She looks up and smiles; she must know why I am here.
"Good morning, sir. Will you be paying a fine today?"
No, that's not why I'm here! Can't she see that I am nervous? My heart is beating through my chest… because I love her… the lovely fine lady… Today, I will ask her to go out with me!
