Screaming and shouting could be heard from on the hill. Howls and yells could be heard as well. Had the ghosts or spirits of the famous Shrieking Shack come alive once again? Another loud painful howl could be heard again. A black shaggy dog looked towards the hill from his cozy spot by the fire near the woods. He howled back in response. Getting up quietly and stalking towards the Shrieking Shack. The howls came from a young man who wasn't quiet a man. He howled in agony at the pain and sound of his bones crunching. His robes falling around him as he grew smaller and became a ball of fur and yelps on the floor.

The lone large black dog walked to the strange willow. It began to thrash its arms here and there. He stared at the willow and made a leap for a knot. The willow stilled and watched the dog walk past to the tunnel. It began to crawl through the tunnel. Reaching his destination, he crawled onto the dusty floor and looked around suspiciously. Whimpering and more yelping could be heard from the attic. The dog howled and ran up the stairs.

The poor whimpering wolf began to bite himself. He craved for the sweet taste of flesh upon his teeth but of he couldn't. Fighting with every fiber of his natural mind, he fought for control. He felt a growl rise up in his throat as the black dog approached him.

Day was quickly approaching. The dawn seeped through the cracks of the window and shined at the wolf.

He howled again and shut his eyes. Once again he heard the crushing of bones and groans coming from the floor as it creaked. Now on the floor laid a man with light hair and misunderstood eyes. His eyes shut tightly, afraid of its surroundings. He felt his robe being wrapped around him. Opening his eyes, he saw a dark haired man with brown eyes full of worry.

"You alright now Moony?" The man asked.

"I'm fine Sirius. But I do see that I bit myself to create a real wound." Moony replied.

"Reminds me of our old Marauder days, with James and Peter"

Sirius nodded at his werewolf friend.

"Those were the good old days."

Both Lupin and Sirius spoke throughout the day and to the night. The sky cleared and the moon shone. Lupin sighed sadly and began his transfiguration again.
