Disclaimer: I don't own Bleach
She watched in the distance, his smile radiating like the sun. He hadn't seen her, he was with her, the woman she admired so dearly, yet was so shamefully envious of.
He didn't smile like that for her.
She sighed slightly to herself, gripping onto her skirt as she followed behind them. Walking alone the clouds in the distance seeming to follow on her tail, she quickened her pace.
He still hadn't seen her.
It was ridiculous, she thought, she should not be envious of a woman who made him happy, happy enough to smile and walk with her to school, for his frown to cease and his brows to soften, or his hand to encase hers.
No, she should not be envious.
She was devastated.
That man, whom she had the utmost admiration for, the one who saved her life more times than he realised, the one who changed her world could never be hers.
He had done that for her to.
He had gained power for her sake, had saved her life in more ways than one, had changed her world.
But she was his world now.
And she couldn't get in the way. No, after everything they'd been through together, after everything that happened, he deserved more than happiness, he deserved more than heaven itself.
No, she couldn't get in the way.
It was time to go.
Gripping her skirt tightly, she nodded with affirmation, squeezing her eyes to keep the tears from flowing, she looked on to her saviour, her world.
He was smiling.
It took her breath away, every time, it took her breath away. His eyes would turn to chocolate and his smile could radiate the world.
It was time to go.
No goodbyes, no, there could be no goodbyes. She'd have to slip away like she'd never existed. She'd have to give up on the man that had made her world, but she would do it.
She would do it for him.
After all, this was the man she had fallen in love with, and she owed him happiness.
She flicked her eyes once to him, a heap of orange wafting in the breeze. She flicked her eyes to her a beauty so refined it reached even her soul.
She was the right one.
The one she would give up her world for.
It could only be her.
Taking one last gaze at her Sun, she smiled gracefully and turned.
He felt a warm breeze on his face and turned.
A lone leaf wafted into the air.
He felt only sadness.
And that's it . . . Not gonna lie, thsi is quite different from my usual style. And I said I'd make a drabble/one-shot series, set it up, and now have another new story, cause I'm not sure where it fits xD
But I hope you get the gist that either girls could be, well anyone really, I had it in mind that it would be Orihime and Rukia (not saying who was who :P ) but it could be anyone you want really.
let me know what you think of this style and if I should try it again :)
