Hey guys ShowdownDewott here with the long awaited prolonged prologue of Pegasai and Titans Book 1: Fire and Flight. This chapter maybe decently long if I manage to get to standard 2k words. Fire and Flight
It was a normal morning for Fluttershy and her friends as they sat on the train, returning to Ponyville from a long meeting in the Crystal Empire with the surrounding kingdoms, The Changelings finally making their debut on the Equestrian world stage. "So what next Twilight?" said Starlight as her mentor yawned before speaking. "We call it a day here. That meeting took any ounce of fun I had out of me" said Twilight as she started to doze off. Even Pinkie was slower then usual do to the boringness of their meeting and Thorax's very long closing speech that lasted 2 hours.
Ponyville had changed dramatically since the arrival of the Changelings with ponies finally being brave enough to talk to the evolved insectoids. Fluttershy had recently learned of a land beyond the safety of Equestria. The land was bathed in bloodshed and iron (Middle Earth) but had recently seen an uprising in Orcs and Cyclopes. Fluttershy was also willing to bet that ponies like them had existed in the land before the events of the (Hobbit) and many other wars. One tale had also caught her attention, The One Ring, had intrigued her a lot.
"So that's the One Ring" she said as her friends gathered around her. "Should we investigate?" said Starlight, obviously curious.
"Good idea, maybe we can see some epic battles in this new world." Said Rainbow Dash as the train arrived in Ponyville.
Arriving at the castle, everyone started tearing through the library in search of such a book, until Pinkie got lucky by of course finding a book cleverly named "Realms Beyond Equestria". "Found it!" she said as Twilight levitated the book over as the others made their way to the map. "I wonder if the map fix spell will do something to the book" said Twilight as she placed it on the table. "Ready, Starlight?" said Twilight, getting a nod from her student. Both unicorn and alicorn sync their magic as the book levitates above the map, slowly orbiting it, before of course the magic bounces up from the map into the book, but something happens, Fluttershy is trapped in a violent swirl of magic, "HELP ME!" she screeches as the intensity increases. Then a portal forms behind our beloved shy pegasus, before sucking her in and removing her from Equestrian turf forever.
