"Jem there is a new girl. She is even more boyish than you" Scout says to me
"Go fetch her then and I want to meet her" I say and she runs toward the corner across the street.
"Jem, She is putting her hair up she'll be right out and then she said I was cool" Scout says. Then I see a girl run out and she is pretty.
"Hi I'm Joey. But you can Jo" She says
"No you name is Jo" A woman says
"Mom, I'm part boyish so gotta be boyish" She whines. The lady sighs and walks away.
"I'm Jem and that is scout." I say
"Jem she has to meet Atticus and Calpurnia" Scout says. We run to the kitchen door and Calpurnia is in there cooking.
"Calpurnia, I'd like you to meet Jo" I say
"Good evening madam Calpurnia" She says
"Oh why what good manners you have" Cal said
"Atticus!" Scout yelled
"Coming Scout" Atticus says and footsteps come and a He appears at the door.
"Well who is this?" Atticus asked. She stepped forward and stuck her hand out.
"I'm Jo" She said and shook his hand
