A before-vacation drabble for Duckie!

--

It's hard to corner Roxas like this, so Axel takes his first and possibly only chance. Roxas doesn't blush, and he doesn't stutter or stare or smile, or even frown.

"Axel," he said, "I like you, very much."

Axel is frustrated. "I don't need you to like me. I need you to love me."

Roxas blinks, this time, and he lowers his eyelashes so that his eyes are half-lidded. Axel thinks he's beautiful.

Then he leans up and kisses Axel on his lips, and Axel feels his heart soar into his throat. When Roxas withdraws he is smiling, his cheeks pink, and Axel thinks he's even more beautiful this way.

"Okay."
