PROLOGUE
PoV:- ?
I stared over the Forbidden Plane… It was so vacant… Not a creature could be seen far and wide… This world was dying; practically dead… I wanted more than this… There wasn't many of my kind, but the ones who were here thoroughly disgusted me. They wasted their eternities doing nothing, gambling over deaths, and playing cards… They let this world fall into this destruction and calamity… They shamed the shinigami name… No… We all did…
My only two acquaintances were Ryuk and Lumen. Lumen was the sort of quiet and cryptic person but to myself, he seemed as if he was always plotting something. He was a newcomer, though, and he was someone who foolishly fell to the curse of the dreaded Death Note. He barely spoke and I haven't seen him use his Death Note. Though he was the kind of person who just came and went randomly, so i didn't really know. He had crimson red eyes and he seemed to be cloaked in a black darkness completely. He seemed pretty ironic to me since his name meant 'Light' but he was enclosed in darkness. Ryuk was a completely different case. He wasn't exactly happy nor apathetic but he was just in the middle. For some reason, he kept telling me about human apples. It seemed obsessive but I didn't really care. He had black pupils and deep yellow eyes. He had pale grey skin and ferociously big teeth though the only thing I've seen him bite into was a lumpy green apple of our world. He wore dark attire and had large feathery black wings.
I had been here so long… I could not remember my human life at all… How it was like there… Lumen, i guess, was burdened with remembering and Ryuk was older then I so he may have forgotten the life as well. I was lost in thought at the moment as I saw Lumen heave a maniacal laugh. He threw out his death note and quickly wrote a name. I looked at him confused but i was able to quickly glance at what he had written.

Nate Rivers? Ryuk had seemed to also see what Lumen had written and I heard him chuckle. Then Lumen suddenly jumped off and flew further and further towards the thin white light in the distance. Ryuk looked at me, chuckling again. He suddenly jumped off as well and followed Lumen. I sat there, confuzzled. But I decided to follow them after little debate. What would it matter? My wings spread into the dying sky and I sped after them. After a few seconds, I got up to Ryuk. he was before the deep fissure. There was light emanating deep from the deep hole. i looked at Ryuk inquiring.
"It is the portal leading to the world of humans." He said staring in. i looked down with him confused. Why would Lumen want to return there? I continued to peer down lost in thought as suddenly I saw a death note lot down caressed by the wind into the portal. I looked up at Ryuk. He just chuckled and dived into the hole as well. But before he left I heard him, "Your welcome to come as well… No one is stopping you." And a another chuckle.
I uncertainly looked at the shimmering colors. Lumen had come from the Kanto region? I placed my bets strongly. Ryuk had probably followed Lumen to where he was, and now so shall I.

Okies so thats the prologue :O Hope you liked it ;3 I dont know how often i'll be uploading so dont bitch _ HOWEVER I would like reviews :) and I would also like ideas :O And and and and does anyone have ideas for the mystery shinigami :O? I sort of have but Im like debating D:
