Ok I know. For those of you reading Perhaps a Ranger (if there are any) yes I should be working on that but that story is giving me insane writers block :(

But I was washing dishes listening to Evanescence and this idea popped in my head and I had to do it.

WARNING: This story does not have a happy ending.

Stoplight, lock the door.

Don't look back.

Undress in the dark,

Alyss unlocked the door to her apartment. She slipped in and made her way to the bedroom. She slipped out of her clothes and walked solemnly to the bathroom to brush her teeth.

You'll never know the way your words have haunted me.

I can't believe you'd ask these things of me.

You don't know me.

Alyss stared into the mirror. Without the makeup she had been using to hide the bags under her eyes and bruises on her face she looked like the survivor of a disaster. Bruises and scratches on her legs and arms had forced her to wear pants and long-sleeved shirts in ninety degree weather.

There's nowhere to run, so let's just get it over.

The first night had been the worst. When she had woken up she couldn't move. When she did pain shot through her entire body.

A couple days later she arrived at work to find flowers on her desk. A note was attached: To my Snow White Queen, you'll always have my love.

The girl working behind her smiled "Boyfriend?" .

Alyss nodded staring at the note.

"How sweet," the girl said turning and walking back over to her desk.

Alyss was horrified. How could he know?

Wake up in a dream.

Frozen fear.

When she came home from work that night. He was there, laying on the sofa. He smiled cruelly and stood.

All your hands on me.

I can't scream.

"Make one noise and I'll kill him." he whispered. As a tear slipped down Alyss' face.

I can't escape the twisted way you think of me.

I feel you in my dreams and I don't sleep.

Later that night Alyss lay in bed awake. Sleep wouldn't come.

Alyss wanted all of this to end. She was going insane. She couldn't take it anymore.

I can't save your life,

Though nothing I bleed for is more tormenting.

The phone rang Alyss picked up and managed a shaky hello.

"Just to let you know I'm coming over tonight." he said and hung up.

That was it. Alyss walked unsteadily over to the kitchen counter and opened a drawer. The blade of the knife caught the light and shined in her eyes.

"He's always watching me." she whispered.

She made her way to the sofa and laid down. She cried and cried.

I'm losing my mind and you just stand there and stare as my world divides.

What Is Will going to think? She thought to herself raising the knife.

A week later, when the neighbors and people at work got suspicious, the police were called. After getting a warrant they discovered two bodies. Both with slitted throats, laying next to each other.

They said the girl was murdered. The man who killed her, overcome with guilt, committed suicide.

The police found something else. A note. It was sitting in the bathroom. To my Snow White Queen, you'll always have my love.
