Obito Uchiha's Purgatory
"Why do I feel so happy" Obito thought as he disintegrated into nothingness. He was finally able to do one good act before he died; and that was give his friend Kakashi the ultimate gift his two Uchiha eyes and the power to execute a perfect Susanoo.
Now I Obito Uchiha linger between heaven and hell. I am in a place one would call purgatory where it's not as beautiful as heaven might be and it certainly isn't hell where there is nothing but a bottomless pit of flames ready to burn you alive. For all that he has done and all the pain he has caused to himself and others; Obito Uchiha doesn't understand why he was left alive all alone in this purgatory world; to mull over what he did right and wrong all day long day after day.
I Obito Uchiha don't deserve all of the "friends" that I had growing up; especially my best friend Kakashi Hatake. He looked out for me even though sometimes he was a pain in the butt. He protected me when s Iwagakure nin tried to kill me and we rescued Rin. "Oh how I loved her but I always wondered did she liked me" Obito Uchiha thought to himself with a small smile on his face.
Being in purgatory Obito mused had its advantages and its disadvantages. One its advantages was the piece and quiet and its disadvantage is not being able to be there with his friends. But at least he gets to watch over them and maybe guide them. It's the least he could do since he was the one that caused them all their pain and misfortune of losing a loved one.
After all he himself Obito Uchiha had grown up without his parents; only to be raised by his grandmother. Somewhat orchestrated the massacre of the Uchiha clan with the help of Sasuke's older brother Itachi. Killed countless other ninjas from other villages showing them no mercy at all. Then joining the Akatsuki to continue his bloody massacre. Then oh he also killed his former sensei Minato Namikaze and his wife Kushina Uzumaki; after his attempt on killing their infant son Naruto. Then he released the Nine- Tails fox from its containment within Kushina Uzumaki; and then let it wreak havoc on Konoha killing many villagers in the process. Then letting the villagers of Konoha blame the Nine - Tails attack on Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki's son Naruto Uzumaki. Bullying him teasing him telling him mean things like nobody loves him that he's nothing but a monster. They even sent mobs of people after Naruto every year on the day of his birth.
Yeah Obito Uchiha was atoning for his sins here in purgatory; but he's sure it will be well worth it in the end. After all he he made his first sacrifice when he was a genin; pushing Kakashi Hatake out of the way of a falling boulder. It crushed one half of his body but didn't kill him; Obito then ended up being trained by a old looking Madara causing him to get stronger each and every day. Then on his way back to help his friends in the still ongoing war; watched in horror as his friend Kakashi killed the love of his life Rin with a chidori to the heart. This caused Obito to go insane and kill everyone and anything in sight. Now Obito wonders would Rin now fall in love with someone who's now a murderer.
Would his sensei Minato appreciate the fact that one of his former students turned to a life of crime and misfortune; plus that same former student murdering him and his wife by his own hands. What would Kakashi think of him now sure he was shocked to learn that he was still alive after all this time plus his former classmates from the academy.
